Guidelines for Reviewers
Last Updated: February 2026
Manuscripts submitted for publication in Aethra Science journals are subjected to double blind peer-review. The identities of both the reviewer and author are kept undisclosed to each other, ensuring anonymity and maintaining confidentiality throughout the entire review procedure.
Publishers recommend that reviewers review COPE Ethical Guidelines to provide quality unbiased review reports.Read COPE Guidelines
Key Aspects for Review
Reviewers are advised to consider the following important aspects during the review process:
Reporting of Original Results
Results must be original and authentic. They should be devoid of any plagiarism and previously published material. New clinical trials with reproduced results may be considered.
Experiments and Analyses
Should meet recognized technical standards and be described systematically. Documentation of methods, experiments, and reagents must be detailed enough for accurate conclusions.
Interpretation of Results
Authors should interpret results and conclusions comprehensively. Incomplete interpretation may result in rejection.
Language of Composition
Must be written in clear, active English. Authors are encouraged to seek professional assistance for grammatical or linguistic inconsistencies.
Humans and Animals
Research must meet the highest applicable international standards of experimentation ethics and research integrity.
Reporting Standards
Adherence to guidelines like CONSORT, MIAME, STROBE, or EQUATOR is mandatory. Community standards for data availability (e.g., gene sequences) must be followed.
Important Points To Consider
- Is the manuscript comprehensive and understandable?
- Have adequate proofs been provided for the declarations?
- Have the authors addressed the previous findings fairly?
- Does the paper offer enough methodology details for reproduction?
- Do any methods warrant a detailed protocol publication online?
